About Me

I'm a very unique guy with a great sense of humor. Hmmmm......well, that's all relative...I have a very dark, biting wit. :) It's all in good fun though! Quirky and eccentric..yes...insane..nothing's been diagnosed yet...so I would say 'no' to this. :DI would probably sum up a characterizataion of myself as a mix of Ferris Bueller, Eric Cartman, Larry David, David Sedaris, and Barack Obama. Damn..that's a hell of a visual huh? Not good..not good...BUT, you get the picture...that's my personality in a nutshell!I love to write and am currently working on compiling a multitude of short stories that I have written in the past, and present for that matter, for a memoir. A dark, yet very humorous take on my life prior and during transition. "Augusten Burroughs meets the transguy"!
A Brief Overview Of My Upcoming Memoir
What happens to the mind of a boy whos brain is rattled into confusion, distraught, and pain from others forcing upon him their own visual perceptions that he is something that he is not; that he is, in fact, female? It eventually takes it's toll on a guy, that's what the fuck it does! And, of course, exponentially increases his chances of becoming a very 'baddddd boy'! *insert evil grin*This memoir is the candid, darkly humorous, and hilariously sad adventure that was my life prior to my transition to becoming male in body. Seems quite depressing huh? WRONG! There are so many twists and turns along my path; as well as the many..MANY... surprises in store for myself and others during and after transiton, that all is turned into a memoir that will(should) keep you laughing! Self-destructive behavior and calamity ensue as a boy tries to find a path in this murky world to become the man he should have grown to be.It is also a story of 'becoming' and finally finding one's self and does not just lend itself solely to the transgendered community. Not only will this be a controversial memoir, as my theories are not the 'norm' and my humor is 'stinging'; but I also hope to reach out to the medical community in order to educate that population in the 'art' of seeing past what is the purely scientific, 'black' and 'white' aspects of their profession.

people watching,kathy griffin,spontaneity,washington dc, genocide research, human rights, continuous learning, literature, fireplaces, waterfalls, travelling, asian art, cultural studies, BOOKS BOOKS and more BOOKS, libraries, muay thai boxing, ultimate fighting, dirtbikes, good friends, thought provoking conversation, good beer, extra dirty martinis, practical jokes, spiced shrimp, food in general...ugh..except for okra..I can't eat that shit, Richmond VA, the beach, roadtrips, fishing, hunting, politics, foreign policy, asian history, bass ale, irish pubs, laughing hysterically, board games that eventually become potentially violent due to the competitive nature of those involved, debate, NPR, fireplaces..shit, said that already..I gotta check this pyro issue, my nephews, concerts, Magnus Hirschfeld, cheesy poofs, cheesy fries, BK Super Stacker, El Monterey Taquitos, damn..did it again..that would all fall under 'food, and finally repairing cars and trucks that most people would trash...loving the look on their face when I have the engine running in excellent form! Nevermind the fact that they still LOOK fucked up...it's the engine that counts

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet others who are open minded and love to laugh! People who don't take life too seriously but also have a passion for SOMETHING. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life; as I crave diversity and am interested in others points of views on a plethora of subjects!
Writers, aspiring writers, and others who relish the power that words convey.

And definitely these five guys..shit..I mean 4 guys and a wonderful woman :)...are at the top of my list as far as who I'd like to meet! If you are puzzled and don't KNOW who they are(you should though): Augusten Burroughs, Josh Kilmer-Purcell, Shawn Decker, and David Sedaris, and Hillary Carlip..respectively. That should take the mystery out of it. Uh..still..I think you should have known!!!
