I am here for Friends

About Me

I've been married to Phyllis, the love of my life, for 33years. We have 3 grown children who have blessed us with 8 (yes eight!) grandchildren. They are Ryan, Austin, Bailey, Jazlyn, Mercedes, Miranda, Jewel and John Mark 111. I might be just a tad bit biased, but they are the coolest 8 people on the planet.I'm a columnist junkie and I read several on a regular basis. A few of my favorites are Neal Rubin from The Detroit News, Deborah Saul from The Monroe Evening News, and David Crumm's Our Spirit column from The Detroit Free Press. My favorite magazines are NO DEPRESSION, BLUES REVIEW and SOJOURNERS.I left my life-long denomination in January 2006 and am currently attending Trinity Wesleyan Church (www.trinity-wesleyan.org) in Southgate, Mi.We love to travel and we usually check out at least one new Bed & Breakfast each year. One of our favorite places to go is the beautiful island of Aruba. We highly recommend at least one visit.
