Get Yourself Some Terri Lee Country!!!Terri Lee is a classically trained singer. Originally from Virginia, she has been singing since before she started walking....ok, not really but her love of music, dancing and the stage started at a very young age. She has privately studied piano and voice with Maureen O'Day and Hedley Nosworthy in the classic techniques. She has also had formal theatrical training and has participated in a wide variety of original theatrical works as well as "classical" plays in the Washington D.C. area. She was formally inducted as a Thespian in the metropolitan D.C. area during high school due to her extensive theatrical performances.
She currently performs at local open mics in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas of California. She is also in the Applied Music Program at a local college. Her first passion is Country music followed by Opera. She feels there is more of a correlation between the two than people realize- both have the cheating lover and the scorned broken heart...it's just there is a huge difference in the delivery of the story between the two!
She has visited Nashville and fell in love with the beautiful, romantic old houses and all the wonderful green trees (which she doesn't get to see much of out in California). Terri is familiar with a multitude of genres of music including Hawaii/South Pacific music which she hopes to incorporate into future song compositions. Terri is also very active in fundraising efforts for cancer research. She has performed at the Relay for Life in their Talent Show. If you are interested in learning more about how you can help raise money for cancer research, please drop her a line!!!
