Born in Detroit, Michigan, I grew up in a family of musicians. Playing clarinet and drums throughout high school and into college I decided the conservatory was too conservative, so I picked up my sticks and hit the road with MADAM X. We were a talented, nitty gritty, balls to the wall rock n roll band that played every club/theatre from Maine to Cali before settling in Los Angeles and signing with CBS records. MADAM X was the real deal. We had a loyal rabid fan base that followed us everywhere and anywhere. Those were wild times! The band eventually broke up so I jumped at the chance to audition for David Lee Roth. Drummer Gregg Bissonette nailed the gig but I was thrilled at the opportunity to jam with Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan…what a rush! I went on to join VIXEN and had a blast touring the world opening for heavyweights the likes of Ozzy, Scorpions, Deep Purple and Kiss.
I love playing live; the thunder of my kick drum and the crack from my snare resonating in a room full of head bangers is so indescribably satisfying, it's like an addiction. I’m anxious to get back on stage and kick in some teeth!
