Hello!! :) My name is Jeff and it’s nice to meet all of you! I am a Professional Musician and play bass and Guitar. I currently play Bass for DSG “David Shankle Group” and have toured Europe & The United States. We have a new CD out now called “Hellborn” and a live DVD filmed in Bad Arolsen Germany featuring 2 of our new songs “Asylum God” & “Bleeding Hell”. I have been a Musician for over 25 years and have been lucky enough to live my dream with my Brothers in “DSG”. We get to play in front of thousands of the best Metal Fans on this planet and I love them all. HAIL & KILL BROTHERS & SISTERS OF METAL.
I have played Bass for some of the best & fastest guitarist in the music industry including, “David The Shred Demon Shankle” - “George Bellas” - & Dee Nelson and I also played guitar for “The Godfather Of Death Metal Paul Speckmann” I have also recorded with “T.D. Clark” “Michael Angelo Batio” & Joe Stump. This shred fest can be heard on “The Voyage” off the new DSG record “Hellborn”
BIOGRAPHY
Jeff, started playing Piano & Sax at the young age of 9 years old and by the time he herd his first Iron Maiden song he instantly became a Metal Freak! Jeff’s Mother & Father bought him his first Guitar & Amp and Jeff became obsessed with it, playing 6 to 10 hours a day. When other kids were out partying Jeff was at home teaching himself how to shred. Jeff’s first Professional Experience came in 1991 when Jeff played guitar on “Death Strike” released on “Nuclear Blast Records” This Was his first taste of working with producers and recording a professional record.
Jeff played guitar in many local Chicago bands and was part owner of “Octagon Recording Studio” Jeff spent Thousands Of Hours Writing & Recording (Life Became Music & Music Became Life) In 1997 Jeff played bass for “George Bellas” “Shrapnel Records” and would tour to support “Turn Of The Millennium” & “Mind Over Matter” his 1st two releases with the label. Playing for George Bellas meant spending 10 hours a day practicing, running Scales & Modes at blistering speeds.
2001 saw the release of a new album and a new band “ Baglady” This band released a half million copies of their track “Rio” bundled with the Rio One MP3 Player which Jeff played a big part writing the song. Playing with Baglady was another awesome experience for Jeff.
In Jan 2007 Jeff Joined DSG “David Shankle Group” I am so happy to be apart of DSG! I have been friends with “David The Shred Demon Shankle” for about 10 years and just love his playing. It’s awesome because in this band I get to Shred and Play Grooves so it’s really the best of both worlds. David brings out the best in my playing because we both love taking everything to the extreme. Jeff’s playing can be herd on the new DSG release “Hellborn” on “Magic Circle Music” distributed by SPV Worldwide. Hellborn will be released July 1st 2007.
