STATE OF THE ART was founded in March 2005 by Peter (guit.) and Wobi (drums). It was also quiet easy to find a frontliner (Paddy, vox), while Sven (Bass) delivered the needed fundament. Alex (Keys) provided for the sphere with his Keys and Matthias (guit) became the second guitarist. After covering songs in the beginning, they started to write their own songs.In Spring 2006 they consequently recorded their first 7 Track CD called “Seven Seconds Silence†at the Bearny Productions Studio and sold it by themselves at Gigs and Shows. Mosh-Pete (vox) was already the guest singer on this CD and helped out at forthcoming Shows. S.O.T.A. decided to continue their journey with 2 Frontiers.In June 2006 Matthias (guit.) left the band. However they quickly found a new and appreciate successor (Jenz, guit). From now on their new Songs became harder, faster and more adult than before. But in the end of 2006 Alex(Keys) decided to leave his buddies because of studying and moving to another City. S.O.T.A. decided to continue without a synth. After a few live shows S.O.T.A. became one of the local heroes and the call for their new stuff became louder and louder…So they followed this Call and produced their second CD named “Between Life and Existence again at the Bearny Studio. After 5 months of production, a lot of beer, hours of puzzling, mixing and nearly becoming insane the new masterpiece was done. In all, seven new tracks, framed in furious thunderstorms of Sound.
