About Me

Anne Marie Summers and Stephen Tyler began playing music together in 1992 and recorded, in the now old fashioned medium of cassette tape, under the name The End Times Duo. Shortly afterwards the name became Misericordia and the musical direction distinctly medieval. Singing was added to the formerly wholly instrumental sound and bagpipes and hurdy gurdy soon acquired (winning first prize for duets at Saint Chartier festival in 1999)
