Handpanther has just released the novemthree/mechta split cassette! It is limited to 50 copies...
Here's what the folks at Handpanther have to say:
"Pythagumus crafts a gentle tale of rising darkness in 6 parts, an anthropomorphic vision of sweetness and fear and absolute wonder. This is one of the best sides I've had the pleasure of foisting onto anyone who will listen. Don't you usually pay more for a treasure like this? Side 2 is Mechtas elegy to Cliff Burton, his favorite musician of all time. Electronic drones and acoustic cat-improv based around the opening note from "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)"." - Ash Rivera

Influences: My beautiful wife and daughter!

In general:
Autumn leaves, the whispers through trees, forests, open meadows, jagged snowy peaks, Tudor architecture, patina-laden old and dusty wooden floors in dark corners, warm and cozy inglenooks, Cotswold Stone, small scurrying woodland animals, European history, the way moss grows on limestone, Hermann Hesse, Albert Camus, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Erich Fromm, philosophy, biology, the social sciences, well-brewed coffee & tea, the lovely songs of birds, those seldom but much needed reclusive times with my own way of meditating, warm friends, loving family, the act of collecting books and musical instruments, etc...

My mom was definitely an influence. I haven't seen or spoken to her since the summer of '90. Ive tried contacting her a million times, but to no avail. Her name is Virginia Torres. If you know her, would you ask her to contact me? She may be in New York, Virginia or Germany. Thanks

"Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend." Albert Camus

"If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able to
Then He is not omnipotent.
If He is able, but not willing,
Then He is malevolent.
If He is both able and willing,
Then whence cometh evil?
If He is neither able nor willing,
Then why call Him God?" Epicurus
