Primaeval

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 Primaeval "opened with an hanter dro; where everyone links together and grooves into an ever decreasing spiral and back out again, like a snake wrapping around itself. The drum starts to drive the rhythm and a sense of tribal oneness unfurls into the Arabic ambience cast by the hurdy-gurdy. The crowd dances and moves in unison as the pastoral oboe cracks into the stratosphere with its dizzy, electrifying sound standing up the hairs on the back of my neck. The music has a structure capable of inducing a state of trance, almost hypnotic, especially in the group dances where this feeling is channelled back through the communal rhythm of the dancers."
