I don't believe in you, yet here you are.

About Me

I play Irish music on the flute and flat pitched uilleann pipes, and other music on the shakuhachi and Persian ney. Am learning old time music on the 5-string banjo. I Like good stuff which sounds like real people making music, but some bad stuff played by eejits is good too. Interests include: Haiku, Buddhist and Zen literature, Irish Gaelic, books, folklore, Anthropology of religions, green jelly babies, Dogen Zenji's 'Shobogenzo' etc... Have recorded 3 solo yokes: 'Bad Turns and Horseshoe Bends', 'As I Carelessly Did Stray'..., and the one above. Recorded as part of 'The Tap Room Trio' and in duet with fiddler Paul O'Shaugnessy on 'Born For Sport'... Appeared as a guest musician on Altan's 'The Blue Idol'.
