About Me

Welcome! I play guitar, sing and play flute and mandolin and write songs, and am also an artist, specialising in watercolour painting. I've been recording songs and instrumentals of my own for several years. Traditional Scottish folk music is where my heart is at, what I connect with most. My newly released cd 'Glasven' consists of songs I'd been working on and recording from 2006 through 2007, containing Robert Burns songs and poems that I set my own music to, along with my own instrumentals. I've written several songs myself and these will be on upcoming albums. There is a large amount of material in various stages of completion, so please visit again to find out more! Thank you for visiting and listening.GlasvenNiel Gow
