I am here for Friends

About Me

Hello, welcome to the WPL myspace page. If you are a teen in Warwick interested in getting more involved at your library, then the Teen Advisory Council at the WPL is the club for you! Every Tuesday, teens from all different schools in Warwick gather together to help plan and coordinate teen related events and activites.
Also, Teen Advisory Council writes the bi-seasonal, Teen Voices, a teen "newspaper" if you will, containing writing/ information for teens, by teens. So, if this sounds like something you'd be intersted in, then feel free to come to the library at 3:30pm, upstairs in the Children's staff room. (located to the left of the checkout area.) Currently, we are working on a video to show to elementary school students taking a tour of the library. We're always looking for more teens to join!
for more extended info about YA programs at the WPL, please check out the following site: http://www.warwicklibrary.org/yapage.htm
Thank you.
