I write non-fiction and juvenile fiction. My Interests

I love quilting, embroidery, knitting, cooking, shopping and of course first and foremost reading. I read lots of books about many things.

Music:

Celtic, classic rock from the 60's and 70's, blue grass, jazz, blues, easy listening and instrumental especially the harp.

Movies:

Just about any fantasy, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter movies, Nanny McPhee and Charlotte's Web to name a few new ones.I love comedy. Don't like horror or anything without a happy ending. I'm a sap and want "Happily Everafter" at the end.

Television:

I don't watch television. I read. I do watch the news.

Books:

Fantasy; Juliet Marillier, C.S. Lewis, Lloyd Alexander, T.A. Barron, J.K. Rowling, Jenny Nimmo, Diane Duane and Lewis Carroll.Humor; Fanny Flagg, Erma Bombeck and Dave Barry.The Miss Read series.Self help that really works. Right now my favorite is The Secret.

Heroes:

Any great writer. J.R.R. Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling and Stephen King to name a few.
