Georgia Mancio

Biog: I am a London-based jazz singer. I have been working professionally since 2000 and have been fortunate enough to have collaborated with many inspiring musicians including the amazing experience of performing at the London Jazz Festival as part of an acapella choir led by Bobby McFerrin! I recorded my first album, Peaceful Place, in 2003 (self-released) which features 3 different musical outfits. Since then I have been performing and touring with my band in venues such as Pizza Express Jazz Club, the 606, The Stables, The Hawth, the Boxford Fleece, Shepperton Jazz Club.------------------------------------------------------- ----I have also been exploring my Latin roots more deeply (my parents are Italian and my great-grandmother Uruguayan) and have just finished my second album with the band which is half jazz standards and half Latin American/Italian songs. The album is called Trapeze and is set for release 17 March 2008 with an accompanying Spring/Summer tour. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- I am also hoping to work more in Europe.
