About Me

Mike is an experienced session musician working at the highest level in a variety of areas including studio sessions, television, West End shows, live concerts and solo performances. Artists he has worked with include The London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and leading artists, including Shirley Bassey, Will Young, Chaka Khan, John Williams and Russell Watson among many others. His skill in all styles of music makes him a much sought after session player.

Composition
Throughout his musical career Mike has been arranging, composing and co-writing. His first original works were debuted on BBCs Sounds of Jazz and were performed by his Jazz Quintet. CD
The CD "Too Late Now" was recently recorded with the Mike Eaves and Sandra Lambert quartet, featuring Malcolm Creese on Double Bass and Jeff Lardner on Drums. It comprises of a number of popular jazz standards including "Emily" and "If I Were A Bell" along with some original compositions.
