About Me

I am currently the President of a corporation that sells electric vehicle parts worldwide. www.evparts.com. I have been involved in promoting electric vehicles as an alternative form of transportation for the past fifteen years. I also race electric vehicles. I have raced circle track, road racing, and now concentrate on drag racing. I built and piloted the first electric street car to break 100 mph in the quarter mile and I hold several world records. In addition I am the former President of the National Electric Drag Racing Association (NEDRA) and a founding member of it, www.nedra.com. You can see some of the vehicles I have built here:

This is on the web site for my TV show on The Discovery Channel titled "Sucking Amps". It was produced by Craig Piligian Films and Television. He is the same guy that brought you "American Chopper" and "American Hot Rod". I am currently trying to sell my home here in Port Townsend to move to Croatia to set up an automotive company to build biofuel plug-in elctric hybrid cars.
I am also the Director of Environmental Transportation Options, www.etoptions.org. I routinely blog at www.Participate.net. These are the people that produced the movies "Syriana" and "An Inconvenient Truth". I am of the "In Your Face" school of thought in changing the world as evidenced in my video below. Other than that I am usually bored.

For more racing action with the "Maniac Mazda" go to Google Videos and put in a search for "Maniac Mazda". There is even a show there I did with Ryan Seacrest who is more famous now because of hosting American Idol.

My Interests

Global Monumental Shift in Energy Awareness

I'd like to meet:

Humans mostly from planet earth. People who are very aware of the environment. Extremely intelligent and creative humans are my best friends although they sometimes tend to be a bit out there. I enjoy meeting people from all cultures and religions. The smaller the world becomes and the more understanding we have the better the chance for all people of the earth to live together in peace.

Movies:

My favorite movie is The Razors Edge with Bill Murray in a serious dramatic role. It is based on the book by Somerset Maugham. It is a remake of the 1946 movie of the same name with Tyrone Power and Gene Tierney. It is about a man's search for truth in life.

Television:

I do watch TV, mostly the History Channel, Discovery Channel and news channels so I can hear the latest lies. I thought I would use this space to include some of my sayings:
"My brain doesn’t work, it only plays"
"Granted that a picture is worth a thousand words but an experience is worth a thousand pictures"
"All obstacles in life are but the gift of a challenge and should be honored as such"
"Heck with thinking outside the box, rather think within the boundaries of a limitless universe"
"I am at the awkward age between puberty and death"
"Dreams are the seed of creative reality"
"Art is the ultimate purpose in life and learning to live is the ultimate practice of that art form"
"I always wondered what it would be like to live in the future and now I know"
"An act of kindness is the blossoming of a warm heart"
"Education is the most subversive thing you can do to the human mind and information is the ultimate weapon"
"The future happens much quicker than it used to"
"I’ve never been killed, not even once!"
Here is one I really love that I didn't write:
"Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway" Steven Coallier
