Painting, that's what I did. I am dead you know.They say I was one of the founders ofImpressionism. What's that you may wonder? It's away of painting what you see. Letting it all rushat you in a blur of color and form and, most ofall, the light.

Try this. Go outdoors and gently let your eyes go out of focus by looking first at something close and thensomething far away and back again a few times so that what you see becomes blurred, more of an impression ofwhat you see than the thing itself. Then try to imagine that captured on canvas.
