About Me
Hi, I'm Cindee. Welcome to my ensemble cast of friends, artists, designers, musicians, tattoists, graffitists, and photographers. A cast that is capricious, changeable, erratic, fantastic, fantastical, freakish, inconsistent, inconstant, mercurial, temperamental, ticklish, uncertain, unpredictable, unstable, unsteady, variable, volatile, whimsical and fickle! I am fickle about my tastes. Not that I am one of those people that floats about not knowing what I want in life or one that gorges hedonistically any and every trend based on what the size zeroes of Milan are wearing. Maybe I have AADD or "Art Attention Deficit Disorder" and if I do, I think I might sue Fisher-Price for that stupid crib musical mobile that kept flashing shifting light patterns on my nursery ceiling like I was trapped in some neo-natal pink-floydian laser light blast! Wonder if MeeMaw's still got that thing up in her attic? Probably, she never throws anything out. Says it will ALWAYS COME BACK IN STYLE! I may not like the same things you do in sense of style but I appreciate your right to express yourself anyway you want! I can be loving one style today and the next it bore me but I never bore of making new friends. I have rather broad tastes for art, music, fashion, and friends. One taste that is always a personal staple is my addiction to Lance's "Toastchee", the snack crackers! I must have them everyday! You know there are many kinds of those on the shelves but Toastchees are the bestest orange cheddar cheese crackers with peanut butter sandwiched between. There is always a pack in the bottom of my purse. Just in case of Armageddon, I don't want to go out hungry! I'm told quite a bit that I remind people of Rachael Ray, too bad I can't cook like her. If it weren't for take out and Toastchees I would starve to death! One hunger I never seem to fill is my hungry for new ART! I crave creativity! To me, all ART is inspiring art, because I take away from the experience of viewing the work of art something that I can put a twist on and use at another day, recycle if you will the visual experience. Having such dichotomy of tastes always seems to empty my bank account making it impossible to save up for college. So I came up with a plan to get my artistic 'fix' here on MySpace instead of the mall, because it's free here to indulge in art and fashion. Browsing your artistic pages won't end me up with a ton of junk in need of eBaying when the tide of personal taste changes abruptly for me. With that said, ADD ME if you love art! If you are considering sending me a friend's request though, I hope your page isn't set to private because I would want to check to make sure we have something in common like a favorite artist, favorite designer, or favorite photographer. So be prepared to get a reply to your request asking about those things before I accept you. I look forward to having you as a friend. I can't wait to see what kind of art you like. I love the more abstract kind of things mostly but the more color that pops the better it inspires. I'm into art that make you stare for a minute or two and then finally find some relevance to the piece. Maybe it's all the fumes from the salon that makes my head buzz all day with swirls of colors, but I just love crazy art and I try to work it into my daily routine of manicures. I am what one might call a Nail Artisan by trade but I aspire to study fashion design one day. For now, I just want to welcome you to my friends. Awaiting your artistic input and exchanges. May your day be in Vivid Color and High Definition! I am still waiting on that exchange from many of you and I keep hearing that some of you aren't sharing because you can't seem to find a place to add comment. I am sorry to you new friends who send me messages saying you can't find my ADD COMMENT area. I wonder just how many wonderful people I am missing out on talking to here because of that but I think my page is fickle and only loads fully on Mozilla Firefox as a browser. I can't ask you to switch your browser then you might think of me like I do of MySpace and wonder if I have some kickback by mentioning them. I don't, I just know that Internet Explorer sucks. That's just my personal opinion so don't be hating, it's just what I think, like well I am entitled to have a personal opinion, you are too, and I respect your right to it. Like I hope you respect my right to say I prefer my Orange Juice EXTRA PULPIE and my Applesauce CHUNKY and Cinnamonie but you don't see me hawking name brands for kickbacks, opps I did mention a name brand earlier on when I said Toastchee® sandwich crackers, wonder if I send them a copy of my page they might send me a years supply free of the crackers, that would be awesome. What was I talking about here... oh yea commenting or your lack of being able to do just that, comment. About the whole Mozilla thing, maybe because that is the surfer I use or because well MySpace is historically laggy on most browsers just because there are like 400 trillion users on here now, even my MeeMaw has a page for her knitting circle. So perhaps it's the traffic that makes the comment area evasive on some pages with tons of graphics. I use to have problems viewing some pages full of art on here until a friend told me about Mozilla. I switched to surfing with Mozilla Firefox and feel ten years younger. Hehehe just trying for something free from them too, did I mention I love PRADA shoes maybe Mozilla will kick in a pair of them if I make you all switch to using them instead of that torpid Internet Explorer. Maybe I should try to find some computer code thing that creates a COMMENT BOX on my page but I don't know much about computers and scripting and stuff so I guess you can just send me a hello in a message if you stick with that crappy Internet Explorer. Anyways, welcome to my friends, I hope you get my page to fully load and take a minute to go check out my albums of my art. I don't have any formal training in photography or painting but I enjoy playing about with them as hobbies. Everyone needs hobbies in life, they don't have to be a COST or an expense to you. A hobby shouldn't be a money draining addiction, it should be something simple that allows you to be at peace with yourself while doing it, I really want to take up Bonsai tree trimming and be all oriental and stuff, I think that would be such a cool hobby but I can't even get a ficus to thrive. Over water under water, it's so complicated. MySpace is my new hobby and guess what, it's FREE, no COST! I love MySpace, I love discussing hints and tips with you about things I wish I knew more about, like foreign languages, or how they get those little ships inside those bottles. I wish I had taken Home Economics in school and learned to sew better than I do and if I had I wouldn't give Tim Gunn any reason to say MAKE IT WORK, because all my ideas would work out marvelously. The only thing holding me back in the fashion industry is the technical sewing part and well that's a big stumbling block, I have a bazillion of creative ideas just not the expertise to put them in play. I am off tangent again in my paragraph I see, I told you I have an attention problem. Let me try to get back on topic, I said I don't know much about computer programming so I have no clue what to do to FIX my page so it loads lickety-split for you people to drop off a comment. I just know that since I switched to Mozilla Firefox as a browser I fall asleep quickly. Sleep like a log through the night with fewer interruptions. Wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. Enjoy a great night's sleep for more than just couple of weeks. MySpace surfing with Mozilla Firefox is the only browser sinD approved for long term use and a better night's sleep. I don't seem to have any problems on viewing friend's and potential friend's pages since I switch to Mozilla. Maybe Myspace DOES have some kickback conspiracy with Mozilla Firefox and networking with them to make us all switch to them. I don't know. I just know what works for me. Escaping for a few moments at work and browsing your MySpace pages (using Mozilla Firefox of course) works for me in giving me COLOR inspiration that I tunnel into my nail art. Thanks for the opportunity for artistic exchange. Thanks for the friendship. Thanks for reading my rambling. Oh one last thing, you don't have to switch to Mozilla even if you still can't see my add comment feature, I try to always makes sure I go back in under my NEW FRIENDS and leave a welcoming comment on their pages. It's the right thing to do, why add someone and not thank them for accepting you into the fold. Why add people if you do not appreciate their talent or views on things and want to make a genuine effort to share ideas and thoughts with them. I don't comment very often, it's too much work to be all graphically and I think it's kind of impersonal to just send out all those mass comments of roses and butt cheeks to page after page after page. But I love to get comments, if that is selfish I apologize. I try to make it a point to have said HELLO to you even if I didn't accompany it with a glittery teddybear holding a daisy, the feeling is the same. I hope you won't think it rude of me to be popping back over from time to time to browse your page and albums for COLOR inspiration. You are welcome to mine anytime and you don't have to speak. If you leave with joy in your heart then I am happy for your visit. But if you want to shower me with daisies, I'd love that too. And to do so you don't have to see the add comment if it is playing hide N seek for your browser. There's a little trick to REPLY BACK from your own page comments to a poster. Meaning a person would have had to have said HELLO first on your page and then you just view your own comments and click the "COMMENT BACK" option and that takes you straight to their ADD comment without any lag waiting for their page to load. I use that feature on people that have LONG LONG LONG pages that I have to scroll down forever to get to comments if I am in a rush on my break at work. If you haven't noticed the latest update allows you to just go in and VIEW your FRIENDS and when you highlight one up pops two options. The first one is a little icon of a pen and envelop that lets you send them a private message and the other is a little icon of a talk bubble with a PLUS sign in it to ADD a comment. And that last one takes you straight to the comment box of the friend's page with no lag. Commenting just got alot easier no matter what browser you are using. I don't like to use the shortcuts that avoid page viewage though because that way I miss hearing your song on your profile and I love finding new musical artists, I will steal the band off your page without blinking if I like it. Shortcutting also doesn't let me see who you love most as top friends, and I love to steal those too, your artistic friends, click them and go see what's cool about their page and what awesome art things they are in to so maybe they may want to be my friend too. Feel free to add anyone you want off my page. I love it when we all get along and be friends with one another, no matter what differences we have in views on government, or religion, or leisure, I love that ART is universal in all its forms. It needs no explanation because ART is not defined in the moment of the creation or by the creator. Art is defined in the sharing, the viewing, the experiencing of it by others and what they get from it and take away into their own life. I hope you at least take away a smile from visiting my page.
