About Me

I am human... I am learning every day... I love life and the people who share it with me... I am amazed at the coincidences that shape our lives.
I started this profile to network with other people who like art and photography, but have found MUCH more than that :)
I have always loved photography. The act of composing a scene through the lens and capturing places or moments from my own perspective is what draws me to it. Photography allows you to record feelings and emotions and share them with others. I especially enjoy experiencing images of exotic and far off places that few people ever have the chance to visit. Somehow a photo can take you there and allow you to participate with all of your senses. I have always longed to go to so many of these places and bring them back for others to experience.
Creating digital art allows me the freedom to not just visit, but also fabricate places and objects that don’t even exist, and shoot them from any vantage point I choose. I don't have to climb a mountain, scuba dive, or fly like a bird to get the exact shot I'm looking for (not that those things aren't a blast).
I love that technology allows me to share things with people all over the world and create things I have never had the skill to do on paper or canvas by hand. I like to walk the line of reality and take steps on either side. I feel like I can take my love of photography and go anywhere in the world and beyond, limited only by my imagination. I hope my art can take others to these places and allow them the freedom to explore their limits as well. Please visit my web site MKH Graphics if you would like to see more of my artwork.
Don't let the sadness of your PAST, and fears of your FUTURE,ruin the HAPPINESS of your PRESENT!

Movies:

This list will take much too long... I love movies... somehow all of these sections were deleted and I'm too tired to update this one :)

Television:

Don't really watch TV. If I was going to... I'd probably watch something educational like NOVA, Science Frontiers, Ask This Old House, How It's Made, etc. I like to watch sports, but it totally sucks you in and I don't like to plan my life around what game I might miss if I'm out. I like comedy... I miss Seinfeld. Mostly if I'm going to sit down and zone out I'll turn on a movie though.

Again a very long list... I like travel writing, books about spiritual exploration, adventures, mysteries, etc. Indian Creek Chronicles, Notes From a Small Island, A Walk in the Woods, The DaVinci Code, The Art of Happiness, Eat Pray Love, A Brief History in Time, White Hole in Time, China Inc, On Intelligence, The Kite Runner, The World is Flat, The Lexus and the Olive Tree, Poe's Heart and the Mountain Climber, Night Fall, Up Country, The Lion's Game, The Power of Now, Memoirs of a Geisha, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Celestine Prophecy, Why We Buy, Stupid White Men, In a Sunburned Country,

Heroes:

All of those people who respect the amazing gift of life and work to preserve it for future generations.
