Living. Laughing. Loving. Learning.Current goal: To help wake up the world and find a better way to live, preserving our earth and its resources for many tomorrows to come.
Anyone ready and willing to make a significantly positive impact in our future, The Dalai Lama, Stephen Hawking, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, [Will Farrell, Owen Wilson, and Vince Vaughn], Tiger Woods, Dane Cook, John Cusack, any Olympian, Paul McCartney, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Larry King, and God. Maybe George Jr., so I can ask him WTF he's doing with our country...and how does he sleep at night?
I LOVE music. To find an artist to match your mood, your life events, well, it's so very similar to that which is done for films. Finding the right song to match my given emotion brings me so much peace and gives me the power of action and creativity whenever I need it most. And there are so many artists to thank for their gift of music. Here's a peek:Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., Carbon Leaf, Coldplay, Nickelcreek, Train, Jamie Cullum, Toby Lightman, Brandi Carlisle, The Clarks, The Shins, The Fray, The Weepies, Guster, Death Cab for Cutie, Sarah MacLachlan, Brett Dennen, David Gray, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Sarah Bareilles, Matisyahu, Andrea Boccelli, Monte Montgomery, Jack Johnson, Jamie Cullum, James Blunt, Erykah Badu, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash (I really didn't know much about him until 'Walk the Line' - what a badass, what a love story, and may God rest his soul), Norah Jones, Feist, Lily Allen, Frou Frou, Imogen Heap, Lenny Kravitz, Colbie Caillat, Conjure One, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, B.B. OH, and anyone who can play a kick@ss guitar solo ranks high on my list, too :)

Since the beginning of 2007, I haven't really watched any TV at all (still watch movies from time to time). It's amazing. It feels great. I used to be like a lot of people...work...come home...make dinner...veg on the couch until bedtime...wake up the next morning...repeat. So sad. Honestly, our lives should be filled with more stories, laughs, and adventures than any writer could portray. Thankfully, I can say that I've arrived...and it's amazing how much time/life you're given back when you do decide to live and not veg :)BUT, when I DID or if I HAD to choose what I would watch, the following list would define me:My Name is Earl, Family Guy, Friends, Seinfeld, old ER (with Eriq La Salle and Noah Wyle), first episodes of Real World (bringing reality TV to life - sadly), The Fall Guy, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider, Charlie's Angels, Wheel of Fortune, The Sopranos, Entourage, Sex & The City, MASH, Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Looney Tunes, Buck Rogers, Spongebob Squarepants, Southpark (love Cartmanon Comedy ), The Daily Show, any GOOD stand-up comedian, COPS (I don't know, it's like a dose of what coulda been & being grateful that it's not what is), Saturday Night Live (older episodes through Chris Farley and company), Silver Spoons, I Dream of Jeannie (sp?), I Love Lucy, Three's Company, Too Close for Comfort, The Facts of Life (I always used to be called Tootie), and most shows on the Discovery and National Geographic Channels.Oh, for the record - I HATE THE NEWS! Is there another way to stay current on the world? Hmm, perhaps another way would be to go see for myself...
Any book that I can read with a child, Tuesdays with Morrie, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Charlotte's Web, The Art of Happiness, Abounding Grace, Awareness: The Key to Living in Balance, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Anatomy of the Spirit, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Giving Tree (well, Shel Silverstein in general), Angela's Ashes, any Dr. Seuss book, umm, most quote books, and the dictionary. There are many more, but I don't feel like digging through my bookshelves right now.
My birthmother and anyone who gets out of bed in the morning with the intention of making our world and our earth a little bit happier, safer - better.
