My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet the pope, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Maggie Thatcher, George Bush, Tony Blair, Saddam Hussein, Adolf Hitler, Alexei Sayle, the Bishop of Bath and Wells, Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, and someone named Trevor... all of them in the one room at the same time would be fun.

I think it would be nice to share a hot tub with Charlotte Church, Jennifer Aniston, and the Sugababes. Possibly, I've more chance with the first bunch, even allowing for at least two of them being dead.

Music:

Oh, I'll listen to anything and everything except opera, particularly the male voice in opera. Other than that I'll listen to and enjoy practically anything.

Movies:

Favourite films?

A Fish Called Wanda.
The Life of Brian.
Coming to America.
Trading Places.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Television:

I don't watch too much television. When I do I like comedies, documentaries, current affairs. Can't stand soaps and reality shows.

Books:

Favourite books apart from my own, you mean? :-)

I love Storm Constantine's work. I have everything Terry Pratchett's ever written, and all Douglas Adams' works.

I enjoyed Oliphan Oracus, by Neil Robinson, and Hinterland, by David Barnett.

I'll read anything that has a humorous slant...

Heroes:

You... for stopping by and reading so far!
