Jessica Rae is captivating audiences with her clear and natural voice while delighting them with her foot stompin fiddling. Born and raised in Chicago, she's a country girl at heart sharing a contagious smile that exudes all the warmth that a sunshiny day brings forth. She was inspired as a child by her grandfather's bluegrass fiddle playing and has spent her life studying classical violin, piano, classical guitar, and yes, the banjo. Currently she is focusing on her singing ability, an inheritance from her grandmother who sang with big bands in the 40s. She is an accomplished classical violinist who studied the Suzuki Method from the age of four. She has performed extensively around the world and is a graduate of Michigan State University with a violin performance degree. But, it is her singing that brings this performer to the limelight. Today in Nashville, she works as a session singer/musician while, simultaneously, building a career in advertising. Never one to hold back her exuberance for life, her laughter validates a vivacious spirit. Her determination to please and dedication to tonal perfection will addict you along with a voice that needs no attitude and no glitzy routine.
