At the age of 6, the Raleigh, North Carolina native knew that country music was destined to be a part of her future. After taking the stage for the first time, Emily White knew that she had found her purpose in life. She performed in both school and church and after her sophomore year of high school began looking for other opportunities on stage. Emily then found herself in a vast array of venues performing in everything from honky tonk bars to the inauguration of North Carolina's governor, Mike Easley.
After graduating high school Emily made the move to Belmont University to major in commercial music. While attending Belmont, Emily has played shows in the Curb Cafe, basketball halftime shows, Country Music Hall of Fame Lounge, French Quarter Cafe, and also been invited to sing the national anthem for various sporting events.
In November of 2006, established industry professionals chose Emily as a finalist in the prestigious Belmont University Country Music Showcase. Recognized as an up and coming country artist, Emily next played for the Country Music Marathon in April 2007.
Emily is now focusing on her songwriting and the recording of new songs from some of country music's top songwriters. But you can still check her out in some of Nashville's hottest venues such as On The Rocks, Nashville Palace, and legendary Tootsies! Her new material is destined for success!
