We lived in the mountains in a little 16x16 ft cabin that had no power or running water. In the winter time we had to park our car at the bottom of the mountain and ride snowmobiles the rest of the way. We did end up coming out of the old west and got power when I was six. Thank the good Lord! Around that time my dad and mom also got me my first guitar. I loved it and played it all the time. Through out the next few years I played in church and at school functions. I also took up the Piano and Sax. When I was in the 5th grade one night I took my guitar and went and sat in my parents truck and wrote two songs. Not sure why I thought I could do that. I didn't know anybody that wrote music but I did it anyway. After I was done that night I made my mom, dad, sister, and two brothers all sit around and listen to my songs. I guess you could call that my first writers night. I continued writing and playing music throughout the next 8 years. After high school I knew that I wanted to come to Nashville. I worked and saved up money and in 1999 I packed my truck, hitched up a trailer, and drove the 2200 miles from Spokane WA to Nashville. I have really enjoyed my time here and write and play almost every day. I travel a lot doing sound for large corporate conventions. Its kinda nice because I don't have to wait tables or bar tend to pay the bills. When I'm off I can just focus on my music. My other passion is sports. I love it all. I love sportscenter and would probably die if it went off the air.
