About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)Part scuba-hippie, part cartoon activist, I have lived in a neighborhood called Hollywood with a pantheon of interesting roommates and more interesting pets for many yrs. I disagree that Hollywood is "global." It is the area of Los Angeles where people of many national origins live who work in the industry behind the scenes. The "Global" Hollywood you hear about is just a network of tax-based subsidies that lure filmmakers to seek cheaper labor overseas. Fuck that. I drive a tiny yellow car when not cycling, love all things 70s, and laugh loudly at seemingly inappropriate times. I have my reasons. I love to make cartoons. I only feel alive when I am doing cartoons. My first animation job was at the Simpsons. I was there for 7 seasons. I also worked at Rugrats, Mission Hill, Duckman, Dilbert, the Oblongs, King of the Hill, Dragon Tales, and Mr. Sprinkles. Sometimes I do T-shirt designs, childrens book illustrations, and other smallish projects.

My Interests

Making you laugh, laughing with you as you laugh at yourself, Imitating your accent and mannerisms while I quote you (I am not making fun of you; I just can't help it), pulling pranks and practical jokes (but you won't suspect me because girls don't do those things), bantering with you in obstruse metaphores and hyperbole, grabbing the cooking utensils out of your hand and taking over your kitchen, pretending I don't notice that I am doing anything unusual but acting like you are nuts for pointing it out; flexing, reading economics books in the sauna, making raw food, watching you pretend you don't notice what's unusual about my eyes, picking wylde licorice seeds and chewing them, my MINI Cooper ("Yellow Submarine"), ciders and dark beers, going out to the clubs damn near every night, riding my bike in the city, working out at the gym at 4am, sleeping on boats, napping on the beach between dives, drinking till I think my Italian language skills are incredible, and getting you to tease me back because that is what I feed on.

I'd like to meet:

the terminally eccentric, dive buddies, seekers and believers of the mystical & metaphysical realm; hearse drivers, playful, imaginative souls who love to laugh, Jughead, Shaggy, and other cartoon beatniks;the band who will star in my Saturday morning cartoon (for people who think it is still Friday Night)...and stop the presses on that one - I think they have been found!!!, The God within you, Ice Bat, collaborators for some short animated projects (particularly sound recording and editting experts), men in fishnets, British rat enthusiasts, members of the Perelandra and Findhorn communities, The Tuatara, Nessie and Sasquatch, and blonde cherokees.
