Hmm, let me think... COMEDY and COMEDIANS (no shit), music and musicians, good food, good movies, good books, Karate, diggin' in my garden (and no, that is not a euphemism for masturbation), and masturbation. Other than that, I think I answered most of my interests in the "about me" and "who I'd like to meet" areas to the right.
I'd like to meet:
Wow, you mean like a wish list? I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know many wonderful comedians. I love meeting anyone working in the comedy field, and that includes stand-up comedians, sketch comedians, writers, creative people, or anyone who enjoys the funny side of life.
As for non-comedian people, I would love to meet and spend time talking to any of the guys from Oingo Boingo. Yes, I'm still obsessed...lol Their music has meant more to me than any other band throughout my life. If I could have a voice like Danny's, I'd rule the world.
Music:
I enjoy damn near everything except hard core country and polka, but if you get me a couple of drinks even polka can be tolerated in small doses.
Some faves are:

Books:
How about authors instead: Frank Herbert, John Varley, Octavia Butler, Anne Rice (insert obligatory "Beauty Series" reference here...and yes I enjoyed it), Philip Jose Farmer, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., Ian Flemming, Pearl Buck, Robert Heinlein, Cleveland Amory, Piers Anthony, Larry Niven, Tannith Lee, MZB, Ursula K. LeGuinn, Mercedes Lackey, Jean M. Auel, W. Michael Gear & Kathleen O'Neal Gear, Hunter S. Thompson, Paul Reiser, and Robert Frost.
Heroes:
I'm not sure I have any actual heros, but I do think highly of a few people. I admire those who keep their goals in sight and continue doing what they love no matter what the odds are -- add to this list most stand-up comedians. No, these people are not always standards of clean living or necessarily pure of heart, nor are their actions/words world changing, but they are tenacious and more or less true to their art and each other. I am amazed at how much they tend to help each other in an often cut-throat industry.
