I have been acting since 2000. I started doing improv comedy shortly thereafter and then began stand up after I turned 21 in 2003.

If you want to see a show, check my calendar and subscribe to my blog. I keep those two things updated with all my info. If you'd like to see me in movies, look under the MOVIES section on the left side of my page.

I think I can get along with just about anybody, so please come hang out with me after the shows. I love meeting new people.

Let's ride this thing till the wheels fall off.
-Sina Amedson.

My Interests

Having fun. Working. In that order.

Categories of fun: Doing shows, making movies, writing, making people laugh, watching tv, reading books, Googling myself (it sounds grosser than it is), camping, going to shows and watching movies.

Categories of work: Everything I have to do to make the above things possible. Sometimes there’s some overlap...that’s when it feels like I did something right.

I'd like to meet:

All the people I swore I'd never forget along the way that I can't remember anymore.

All you people that borrowed stuff (or money) and never gave it back and then I forgot to ask. I'm looking at all you 'free lunchers' out there too. You've committed the perfect crime because I have the memory of an old prizefighter well into the Autumn of his years.

But also just good "Salt of the earth" people. People that make life worth living and give you hope for humanity.

People with good stories. I'd love to hear your philosophies on life.

...And maybe a girl who isn't completely nuts. Wouldn't that be nice for a change? :)

Music:

I'll start off by making the cliche statement that I like all music.

With that out of the way...The last few albums I've bought are:

John Hiatt - Perfectly Good Guitar
Elvis Costello - The Very Best Of...
Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold!
Aesop Rock - Labor Days and None Shall Pass
The Who - Quadrophenia
The Pulp Fiction Soundtrack
The Forrest Gump Soundtrack
The Essential Bob Dylan Collection
Pearl Jam - RearviewMirror
Modest Mouse - Good News for People Who Like Bad News
Queen - Greatest Hits
The Departed Soundtrack
A Tribute to Elliott Smith
Look at All The Love We've Found: A Tribute to Sublime
Bradley and Friends: Acoustic Sublime
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral (Special Edition)
Hezekiah - Hurry Up and Wait

Movies:

I have acted in a few feature films. Some have premiered, a few are still in post production...If you ever want to know what's going on with my film career click on this link:
Sina Amedson's IMDb page.
These are posters for films I've worked on in some way. In order of their release (Newest to Oldest). Click on the pictures to go to their websites.
More to come!

"Good friends we've had, and good friends we've lost, along the way...but in this great future, you can't forget your past...So dry your tears, I say...This is for my peeps who've passed away." -Bob Marley
REST IN PEACE FOREVER to all my friends that have passed over the past years. I dedicate every ounce of my success to your memories and to all the great memories you've provided me with!

  • TIMOTHY ODIN LAMOREAUX - April 14, 2005 (A great comic, friend and inspiration. Remember hanging out after shows and when you'd come over from AA to say hi to me and Trent? I dedicate a lot of my comedic success to you. I still laugh when I think of your head bleeding from the microphone...you were the best)

These men are both influences and heroes in my life...both the professional and the personal sides of my life.
By clicking on any of the pictures below, you will be taken to their websites.
Trenton James. Star of Pirates of the Great Salt Lake and my best friend. He's also the star of the Trenton James Show, has a good part in Blind Guy Driving and is a regular cast member of the internationally recognized improv troupe, Comedy Sportz He is probably the sole reason I am an actor and comedian today. I would've quit a long time ago if not for him. He's my Obi Wan. Click the picture to be taken to Trent's MySpace page.
