my son is autistic, however i have not been on a mad search looking for a cure as i believe there is nothing wrong with him. i didn't get upset or get depressed when he was finally diagnosed, i was actually relieved to find the answer for his differences, but they weren't really differences in my eyes as that is ike, in your face... he is unique and extraordinary and *LOVED* for the person he is. he is such the character and that's what make him stand out and to be the amazing person that he is. i do have to admit there has been some challenges but every single obstacle that was thrown at us was dealt with and for lack of a better word...forgotten. my child has taught me to see the world in a different view... i only wish i could see it thru his eyes. *ISAAC IS NOTHING LESS THAN AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU SON*
i also believe we need to find the cause so children may get the diagnosis early, in order to get the health care needed but i honestly don't believe there is a cure all for autism. if you feel differently, i ask that you take a look at your autie and realize the marvel that comes from within and let he/she be the person they want to be
