The Autism Asperger Publishing Company (AAPC), established in 1999, specializes in providing hands-on advice and information to parents, educators, professionals, and others about topics related to autism, Asperger Syndrome, and other pervasive developmental disorders.
Autism affects an estimated 1 in 166 births, and that number is on the rise. Based on statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and other governmental agencies, autism is growing at a rate of 10 to 17 percent per year, which means that it could affect four million Americans in the next decade.
Due to the increased diagnosis of these disorders, schools becoming more involved, and the growing awareness of resources, the demand for books on autism spectrum disorders is rising. Starting with only one title seven years ago, AAPC now carries close to 90 titles. Within two years, AAPC plans to have published a total of 150 books.
We take pride in offering books that provide practical solutions for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder as well as parents, teachers or others working or living with an individual with an autism spectrum disorder. In addition to autism books we offer videos and other interactive products.
Whether you need information about an autism spectrum disorder or social skills or sensory integration, we offer books, resources, and conferences of the highest caliber with a practical focus.
