Music has always been my passion, but my other biggest passion is my "real life" job. I work with children who have autism and special needs, and I absolutely love what I do! I work with the most beautiful children and am truly blessed to be part of their living and learning. In addition to working with typical children and also children with autism and special needs, I also work with adults who have severe physical and developmental disabilities. The Combating Autism Act was just passed by the House, the Senate, and signed into law by Bush in December of 2006. One billion dollars will be dispersed over the next 5 years to help research autism and fund special needs for families and programs of children with autism.
