Index:Code are a 4 piece metal band from York (soon to be a 5 piece with a vocalist). Myles and Paul started writing metal music for a new band, soon to become Index:Code. Realizing that they didn't want to play in their current band Into The Silence anymore they started writing solidly for Index:Code. They both had 50 live shows under their belt from playing with Into The Silence, playing with bands such as Rattlesnake Remedy, Exit By Name and Breakout Project (to name a few). Sal quickly joined the band and brought his talents in to the song writing process. Myles approached a good friend Tom from York who quickly became the bassist. With 2 guitarists, a bassist and a drummer, the band lacked one of the most important elements to having a full band, a vocalist. In search of a vocalist, the band is currently writing material for when they finalize a vocalist in to the band. Then it will only be a matter of time before the band start playing live.
The current pre-production recordings on the bands myspace page were recorded at Myles' house using a low budget dynamic microphone and a D112. New recordings will be up soon.
