United Way offers an opportunity for donors to 'unite' under one umbrella in order to affect change and improve lives. Additionally, the organization brings together volunteers, health and human service agencies, government officials, and other leaders in the community to assess and respond to the immediate needs of Nashville.
Our Mission:
The mission of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville is to bring together people and organizations to create a community where individuals, families and neighborhoods thrive.

Help people take the first step toward getting back on their feet again.

Sometimes kids are born into bad situations. Your support helps give them a fighting chance.

Neighborhoods

Some of our neighborhoods are troubled by crime and deterioration. But their residents are fighting back through:

Wellness

When life is interrupted by trauma, grief or illness, United Way can help set it right again.

Domestic violence, rape and sexual abuse counseling Mental health services HIV/AIDS prevention and care services Senior care services Foster grandparent programs Hospice programs
