Elijah truly has survived the many trials of life the reason behind the first album title "The Heat after Da Flames"."Only a few where Im from survive the trials and tribulations we are faced with", says Elijah,"but I was one of the chosen few to make it." Though he rose to quick rise in the drug life, he also rose to a quick fall loosing it all in one day from a drug bust,"giving the amout of dope and money I had that day if it had been on me I would probably still be locked up." To add injury to insult, Elijah adds he also had started using the drugs," I started with the weed, then to the laced weed,then to the powder,then to eventually doing straight dope, had I not overdosed on the stuff to hear God's voice telling me He was giving me a second chance I probably would have smoked myself to an early grave." He truly has survived the fire in life, now he brings to you the flames."The Heat after Da Flames, its not the glorification of my past life style, just how I survived it."
