About Me

Meet Quintin X. Coleman: Nashville’s Quintessential Renaissance Mancue1 kyu noun, verb, cued, cu?ing. anything that excites to action; stimulus; a hint; intimation; guiding suggestion.Ask any disc jockey in any genre from any era (from the vinyl to the tape to the digital age), and he or she will tell you that before you spin a record or play a cd on the air, you have to cue it. It’s just the right way to do it. When the song is cued, it’s ready to go. In fact, in theatre actors don’t enter the stage until they are cued. And so it is in this new musical era. Many artists are realizing that before they send their music out to the general public, it needs to be cued. . . it needs to pass through the hands of producer, artist, radio personality, and rising music mogul Quintin X. Coleman (also known as Cue).A trained carpenter, the 28 year-old Joliet native, Quintin has finally chosen to perfect the gifts that have laid dormant for so many years. “About a year ago I put down my drill, my hammer and nails, and I really haven’t looked back. All I can say is that the Lord has provided. Today my career is 100% music. Just when I start to feel unsure about where the next project or gig may come from, God steps in and does a new thing.”The youngest of two sons born in a family steeped in musical versatility, this quintessential renaissance man can switch almost effortlessly in the blink of an eye from keyboardist, to drummer, to vocalist, to music producer. With the release of The Diallo Experience, the first project he has produced for Seed Works Records, the independent record label he co-founded with spoken word artist and business partner Michael “Diallo” McLendon, Cue has found himself bombarded with request for vocal arrangements, mixing, music production, etc.“We call the label Seed Works because the seed really works. God is using us to plant positive seeds in the community. It only takes a spark to get a fire going. In the midst of a generation that produces a lot of music that glorifies sex, money and violence, Christians are called to be atmosphere changers. We are the salt of the earth.”Currently Cue can be heard every afternoon beginning at 2:00p.m. on Nashville’s premium gospel station, WNSG 880 AM Rejoice where he uses music, humor and his encouraging personality to inspire people in Nashville and surrounding areas. “I give God the glory for every thing He has done and is doing in my life. It’s such a blessing to have the opportunity to encourage others with the gifts that God has given me.”Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0 Music Video Codes By Music Jesus.com
