Brandyn Burnette

BIOGRAPHYBrandyn Robert Burnette was born on August 23rd in Boca Raton, Florida. He was raised in California for the first six years of his life, and then moved on to Houston, Texas for another five. His family moved to St. Louis in July 2001.
In seventh grade, Brandyn began auditioning for school musicals and plays. Though he has always been interested in acting, his true passion is music and performing. Brandyn received his first Casio keyboard at the age 7. At age 12, his father gave him a Yamaha PSR 8000 keyboard-- thus beginning his drive to compose original music.
This mature 17-year-old has taken his music and songwriting into full gear, writing many songs. His repertoire includes ++++ original songs and is growing daily. With what is now a solid and still growing fan base, Brandyn has performed all around his hometown, Saint Louis, in local venues. What sets him apart from other singer/songwriters is his incredibly personable attitude and his emotional and inspiring lyrics, all at the ripe age of 17. His lyrics and music set an intimate tone and carry deep meaning. His passionate and sincere voice shines through each song and his lyrical content encompasses a wide variety of issues- growing up, girls, life, friend's death. With song title's like "The Consquence of Being Juvenile", a song written about a friend who passed away in a drunk driving car accident, his songs hit close to home to many and any. Many who hear him perform say his songs are “way beyond his years”. Music has been apart of his life ever since he was young. With no formal training, this self-taught musician wrote his first full length song titled, “Memories” at age 13, which encompassed his childish upset when his sister left for college.
Brandyn refers to his music as Rock/Alternative, but his style is clearly his own. Expect a lot from this up-and-coming musician.

Brandyn Burnette's music can be summed up and properly described by this word: "Phenomenal". This young artist possesses a style that is clearly unmatched and extremely professional. In each piano chord and throughout every song, exists a passion from within still finding its way out in limited sections and breaths of his music. If he's blasting his way through the MySpace Music circuit at age 16 and doing extremely well, imagine the type of fan base he'll have at 21. Therefore, those who give this gentleman a listen, please truly take in his full talents and abilities and not just one dimension of his music. He is truly gifted.
