Canadian singer/songwriter PHIL CHRISTIE has been blazing a trail in Los Angeles ever since he moved there in the late 90s. His latest CD Summerstown is earning rave reviews among contemporary folk and A/C fans, with legendary Producer Milt Okun calling the disc exceptional its one I wish Id produced. The title track has just been released as a single to Country radio stations across Canada, Europe and Australia. Since the release of Summerstown , Christie has been performing at prestigious events such as the Kerrville Folk Festival and the South Florida Folk Festival. He wrote and performed the song Skeleton for the motion picture soundtrack Jacks or Better, starring Jack Wallace (Boogie Nights), and was tapped to recreate John Denvers vocals for the 2000 CBS TV movie Take Me Home: The John Denver Story.
