I am first and foremost an artist and songwriter however most of my time these days is spent as a producer and engineer here in Nashville, TN. I have 10 years of experience in various aspects of the music business as a producer, studio engineer, live engineer, mix engineer, artist, songwriter, and road manager. I’ve worked in various roles with a wide range of musicians from independent artists to multi-platinum grammy winning artists. I’d like to think that my specialty and passion is artist development from the songwriting process to full album production. I utilize my own studio, contacts with various Nashville tracking/mix rooms, and healthy relationships with A-list session players. I work with artists at all levels of development and budget. Please check out my website for more info and consider these custom production services for your next independent project. .........
I get to make music with a lot of great people. I love what I do and thank God everyday for the chance to make my living as a musician. It is very rewarding to make my own art and help others make theirs. I hope to do a third solo record in the near future if I can find some time to record it. For now take a listen to some music from one of my older albums. Also, check out some of my top friends for links to a few great artists I’ve worked with recently. Thanks for visiting. Say hello.
Peace
Stephen

From Artistically Enamored to Eating Our Young: A Commentary on Musical Elitism

This little commentary / confessional was birthed out of some self-realization about my own deep-seeded, and often subconscious, interpretation surrounding the semantics of well-crafted art in the mod...
