Hi. I'm Chris Hannigan. I write songs and record them at home on a digital recorder that I bought from a friend a few years ago. The songs you hear on this page were written and recorded while I lived in nearly-always-sunny-isn't-it-ever-going-to-rain? Southern California.
Semi-autobiographical in nature, the songs reflect the wonder, sadness, strangeness, and beauty of living in a place where I felt out of place, not quite at home. Someday soon they'll find their way onto an EP, but until that day comes, I hope you enjoy listening.
"A Thousand Different Reasons" and "Heart's Refrain" were recently written (March 2008). "Raindrops," "Let it Spill," and "Boat Built for Two" were written about one year ago (Summer 2007).
