Roots-rockin' the Blues

About Me

Born in Genova, Italy in 1960; guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, he's now one of the top names in the European blues-roots-rock scene. He recorded 3 lp's (with italian band Big Fat Mama) and 7 cd's (the last one also contains a live dvd) and played/recorded with several italian (such as Fabio Treves) and american musicians. In 2003 he played with John Popper (great harmonica master with Blues Traveler) and bottleneck guitar hero and J.L. Hooker producer, Roy Rogers. Since the same year he's in Slowfeet, one-of-a-kind super band together with some Italian rock legends as Franz Di Cioccio, Lucio Fabbri (PFM) and Vittorio De Scalzi (New Trolls). In 2005 he's been nominated 2nd Best European Blues Artist for "Trophèes du Blues", in the french specialized website bluesfeelings.com Paolo Bonfanti - Wait Until Tomorrow (Live 2007 Ossi, SS)
