About Me

Masthead Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own! You want to know about me do ya... Well I was born December 6, 1958 in Uravan, Colorado. I am the third of four boys in my family. Went to school in Uravan, Naturita, and Nucla, Colorado. Graduated from Nucla High School in 1978. When I was 23 I joined the United States Army. Did my basic training in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Than was transfured to Ft. Lee, Virginia for my AIT training. I was a Food Service Specialist (army cook). After training I was then stationed in Ft. Benning, Georgia. While there I met an amazing woman and fell in love. Sandy and I were married in Fort Benning, Georgia on May 19, 1984 in the Infantry Center Chapel. We were transfered to Hanau, W. Germany in October 1984. Hanau is a Germany town about the size of Grand Junction and is just south of Frankfurt. I was stationed with the 3rd Armored Division 23rd Engineer Battalion. Lived there for 3 years. While there we traveled around Europe when ever we had the time off and the money. We ended up being able to travel through eleven countries while living there. What a fantastic Honeymoon... In May of 1987 our son Seth was born in Frankfurt, Germany. When he was 6 months old (Nov. 1987) I was discharged from the army and returned to the U.S.A. I PROUDLY served six years in the Army. We than moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. Have been here ever since. Sandy & I started a wedding cake business. Sandy bakes, I decorate. Together we have done over a thousand weddings. I also bake at Sam's Club full time and Sandy works for Wal-Mart. In May of 1996 our daughter Kaysee was born. We have been blessed with two amazing children, whom I love with all my heart. I love to laugh, tell jokes and hang out with my friends. I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC. But most of all, I Love My God. We are members of Fellowship Church. Fantastic place. Pastor Dan Hooper Sr. rocks. I like to travel, take cruises an just spend time at home doing nothing. Other than that I live a pretty simple life...

Television:

I have to admit, I watch TV a lot. Maybe too much. CSI Las Vegas, ER, and Ghost Whisperer are my favorite weekly shows. I am a big reality TV fan too. Survivor and The Amazing Race are the best. I would love to be on either one of them but know that there is no way I could really do it. Just wishful thinking I guess. Dancing with the Stars is another one I really like. I do think I could do that. I love to dance and have always wanted to learn how to Ball Room Dance. Kyle XY was the coolist show on this past summer and I can hardly wait till it returns again next summer for a second season. Miami Ink is another one that is cool. Because of it and my buddy Justin at work, I now have tattoos on both upper arms and one on the back of my right calf. I got my first one at 46 years old. I have a Cross out of nails and roses on my left arm, an arm band with American flag feathers surrounded by a tribal design of my kids names on my right arm. On my calf I have a Bald Eagle that fades into a U.S. flag with six gold stars and gold lettering that says United States Army. The stars represent the six years I served my country. A guy by the name of Ryan Willard has done all of my tattoos.. Ryan , You Rock. Fear Factor, now who doesn't love something discusting and gross once in a while???
