Music:
I love country music... you'll find me listening to country 95% of the time. The rest of the time I may tune into some oldies or some good 70's music!
Movies:
I'll watch just about any movie that is a comedy... really... what better way to spend an evening than laughing!? Although I don't really go for the "slapstick" comedies of old such as The Three Stooges or Laurel and Hardy.
Some of the movies I've enjoyed over the years: Pirates of the Caribbean, Wedding Crashers, Bruce Almighty, Silence of the Lambs, Meet the Parents / fockers, Harry Potter (all), The Money Pit... a few oldies... Blazing Saddles, Singing in the Rain (an all time clasic) Zorro The Gay Blade *hilarious movie starring George Hamilton*
Then of course I do watch my Elvis movies. I have 25 of them on DVD. I'm missing 6 movies and 1 documentary in the collection... so the search is on!!
Television:
Don't watch much TV... I manage to see a bit of the news each day... not for the weather of course because lets face it... here in Arizona the weather for the most part is... hot, hotter and hottest [grin]
I have become a little bit of a reality TV junkie... lol I like watching American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and Don't Forget The Lyrics. I'll also tune in to some of the Sci-Fi channel shows at times.
Books:
I'm a hopeless romantic and have a large collection of romance books on my library shelves. Some of my favorite authors are: Dara Joy, Sherrilyn Kenyon / Kinley MacGregor, Sandra Hill, Nora Roberts / J D Robb (love her "In Death" series) and Johanna Lindsey. I also have a large collection of vintage / collectable books by Linda Howard and Nora Roberts.
Heroes:
My husband...loving father and grandfather... he's strong... his courage outweighs many. Protecting us here at home....many times he's put his life on the line for others. ALSO... All the men and women protecting our great country so that we can sleep here in peace, along with their loved ones left at home... God bless and protect them all...
