I am an aspiring singer/songwriter and I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I have recorded at Rainey Recording Studios in Drasco,Arkansas, Doug Deforest's Studio in Cherokee Village, Arkansas and at Sonicboom Studio in Raritan,New Jersey. I have competed in many local competitions where I have had the opportunity to meet many other talented people. Some of which I have formed lasting friendships with.
I have a wonderful family that supports me in all that I do and I am truly thankful for them. I have had lessons in Fiddle and Piano, but I really just want to sing. But maybe sometime in the future I will decide to pick one or both back up. Right now, I just want to record songs and hope that I will be successful at it. Many thanks go out to my family and friends. I am so happy to be getting a chance to do what I love, SING!!

FROM A MUSICIAN / SONGWRITER
I didn’t know what to expect when I was called into the studio for a current recording project. First of all, the producer is a well known fixture in the music industry (I call him the new hardest working man in showbiz). He was the guitarist in the Spin Doctors and has worked with artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Trey Anastasio (Phish), John Waite, Robert Randolph and believe me, the list goes on. Along with this, he has written several popular television theme songs and songs that are on movie soundtracks, including the recently released Burt Reynold’s picture. Needless to say, I take my writing partnership with songwriters very seriously.
I was told that we were going to work on some Pop Country songs for a young girl from Arkansas. We had written the first song and I was going to the studio that day to help with the recording process. When I walked in a met Ashleigh and her mother, Rebecca. My first thought was, these folks are so down to earth and I immediately was able to connect with them (not a usual experience these days). I did wonder how Ashleigh would perform, she seemed a bit shy. It only took a few minutes of experiencing her in front of the microphone to clear my doubts. Ashleigh was extremely confident in her performance, her delivery and her ability to receive instruction from the producer. She finished several tracks on “Sleepless Nightsâ€, any of which could be a keeper in it’s entirety.
For the next week. I went back and forth to the studio to work with Ashleigh and in fact she finished three tracks before her scheduled time, amazing, she worked like a pro and delivered some great tracks to songs that were relatively new to her. We decided to get together the next day, even though our work was through, by this time we had developed a bond of friendship that led me back to the studio just to hang out with “the Arkansas twoâ€, Ashleigh and Rebecca, while they still in town. We decided to write a song in the studio, which turned out to be “As Days Go Byâ€. It didn’t take long to complete and with a new sense of Ashleigh’s style we developed the song as she laid vocal tracks to the basic musical foundation that Anthony recorded and it turned out to be one of the favorites of the session.
All I can say is, in all my time in the music industry (and that’s a bunch of years) I have come across few who have shown the promise that Ashleigh Rogers has. To top this off, she is a truly and sincerely GOOD person and someone I consider a friend. The future is bright for this young girl who is quickly developing into a bright Star.
Jayson Jannuzzi (Musician & Songcrafter)I am a strong supporter and spokesperson for "Just Tell". Just Tell is a new non-profit that encourages kids to tell an adult if they are being sexually abused.
