About Me

This page has been created to connect links between our revolutionary minded Brothas & Sistas who are incarcerated and those of us in the so called "free-world". The blog section will feature profiles, art and written work from prisoners world wide. To add a profile of a prisoner or feature artwork, please send us a message with the info and we will post it.
In the comment section, you can post photos and addresses of any revolutionary minded inmates looking for pen-pals.
ALL OTHER COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED!!
With the ever growing prison system in this country, we cannot just ignore what is happening to our loved ones. We must educate ourselves on who it is that we are fighting against – and what it is we are fighting for. We must use that information to organize relentlessly in the community – while some of us still have time – because, like Chairman Fred says, “They want us all on deathrow.” --JR, Minister of Information, POCC
Almost two million people are currently locked up in the immense network of U.S. prisons and jails. More than 70 percent of the imprisoned population are people of color. It is rarely acknowledged that the fastest growing group of prisoners are black women and that Native American prisoners are the largest group per capita. Approximately five million people -- including those on probation and parole -- are directly under the surveillance of the criminal justice system. --Angela Davis

"My primary motive is to meet people to help build bridges of understanding that will recede our divisions and create a greater unity. My secondary motive is to inform the public of my conviction and sentence, that's currently being appealed, the evidence will show that our system of justice is terribly flawed."

"As a certified paralegal, I assist my fellow inmates in their legal affairs, which often extends to legal research, writing legal letters, and drafting and filing motions to the courts.
I am a vegetarian who is also heath conscious, and as such is very dedicated to a strict exercise regimen. I run an average of 3 to 4 miles daily, and I lift weights 3 times a week.
Should my picture and bio spark an interest within you, I trust that these few words will further move you to take the first step and drop me a line."

"Men in my situation are not given the opportunity too often to represent themselves as men with intelligence, compassion, remorse, education, or understanding, especially after finally discovering who we truly are as men and no longer immature boys, and prioritizing our true selves with positive actions."

Unfortunately, I have been incarcerated since the age of 16. Throughout my incarceration I have done everything possible to educate myself so as to be an asset to the community upon my release and to make my family proud of me. I have adamantly refused to allow time to simply pass me by. Having been forced to come of age inside of an institution, I believed it imperative to belong to progressive organizations in the free world and to contribute what I could. I have written several editorials for progressive organizations and news magazines, participated in legislative conferences, and advocated for civil and human rights adherence. I have one semester to complete with New York Theological Seminary to obtain my degree in human services.

"I am looking for the meeting of our minds. Someone who is not afraid to challenge me on a mental level, take my mind on a journey of greater heights unknown. At this point in my life, I have been there and done that, but my life as I know it, is incomplete."

"I'm in my element when reading and storing knowledge. An intelligent thug! (imagine that). I've been incarcerated (16) years. Contrary to beliefs ~ prison life is a very efficient educational process ~ either tighten up yo game or get preyed upon. (No bullsh#t.) Arrested at (16) ~ Became a man at (16-1/2) (feel me)? Had to do so alone~ it's a hard knock life, imagine coming in a child, preparing to leave a man. Academically and mentally sharp as a tack ~"
