About me

About Me

My name is Mark West and, in addition to my day job, I'm a horror writer. My short story collection, Strange Tales , was published by Rainfall Books in 2003 and they will also publish my novella Conjure in October 2006.
In October 2005, Pendragon Press published my first novel In The Rain With The Dead .
I also have a Live Journal , which is my main journal (I will cross-post to MySpace though).
I live in Northamptonshire, in the UK, with my wife Alison and our son, Matthew, who just turned one.

My favourite book of all time is "Boy's Life", by Robert McCammon. I am also very taken with "My Chinese Summer", by Mark Illis, "IT", by Stephen King, the Spenser books by Robert B Parker, The Three Investigators and numerous anthologies.
