About Me

Visit my website: ninefingerstentoes.com
I'm a writer. If you don't believe me, just look at my hat. If you still don't believe me, buy me some beer and watch me fall into fits of uncontrollable emotion as I weep for the sad, sad state of the human condition. And if that still doesn't convince you, read one of my stories.
Graveside Tales 's new anthology, Fried: Fast Food, Slow Deaths is now available for order at all sorts of locations. Fried! has spent a good deal of time on Horror-Mall's Top Ten List, and contains my short story, “Bad Fish." You should check it out if you like your horror to come on a sesame seed bun.

I have a one-act play called God's Quitting that I'm trying to get brought to the stage. Kristi Parker, a young actor and director has shown interest in bringing the play to the stage, but I think real-life is getting in the way at the moment. Currently, the play is being read by other interested parties, and I hope to have good news concerning it in the very near future.
I’ve also been working with the very talented Rachel Allen on a graphic novel titled Perfect Paranoia.. As anyone who has worked in the independent comics business can tell you, this is a tedious process, but things are coming along nicely.
I also occasionally review books for Horror-Web.com. Horror-Web brings fans and creators of small-press horror, with reviews and information for everything horror, from movies and books to serial killers and music. If you’re a fan, be sure to swing by and get acquainted with the site.

When I’m not writing, I’m working. I have more jobs than I can keep up with, none of which pay very well. And when the day is done, I like to come home and spend time with my beautiful wife and amazing son.

When Metaphors Get Out of Hand

I finished the first short story of 2008 a couple of days ago. It's called "Chasing Rabbits," and it was loads of fun to write. It's now sitting in a drawer waiting for its turn underneath the red pen...
