Horror is not a new genre, it spans the centuries as tales to entice behavior, irrational fears, a shocking reality, or a form of entertainment to deal with all of the above. Horror is meant to cause fear. That fear is connected to adrenaline and reminds you that you are alive. It is that adrenaline that spurs horror and Horror-Web . It is that adrenaline that we are addicted to! In essence, horror is what breaks us down to the bare minimum of a human being, reminds us that life is fragile, and makes us wonder what's lurking in the dark - or standing in the plain light of day... THIS is why we have created and maintain the Horror-Web - where normal is relative and your nightmares are real!
