My name is Maya and I am 2 years old! I was found as a stray, in Tampa, wandering aimlessly, and scared to death! I was in full heat and was getting chased mercilessly by marauding Male Dogs! The Siberian Husky Rescue of Central Florida found me and took me in. They were so nice to me, except when they took me to these weird people in white coats who stuck me with needles and took some of my girl parts! Oh well, at least I got lots of love and kisses afterward!
My new Mommy adopted me in April. I wanted her to be my Mommy so badly that I "worked it" really well, and charmed her from the beginning! Sucker! - My new home is so much fun! My Mommy spoils me rotten and lets me play with lots of toys! I love to play fetch, take Walks, or lay around like a couch potato!
I have a Big Brother named Thomas O'Malley, and a Big Sister named Lolita Poosay, and they both pick on me! I also have a Baby Brother named Edgar, a Baby Sister named Sadie and a new Baby Brother named Butters. Edgar follows me around and I love to snuggle and play with him! He wants to do everything that I do! I taught him how to sniff like a Dog, and chew on Pig's ears. He also plays fetch too! I also have a Cousin Oliver just like the Brady Bunch!
I am still a little leary of Large Dogs, especially Males, but my Mommy has been helping me to work through my issues. Mama says I'm bitter, just like her! Once I get to know a Doggy, I am fine with them. Little Dogs I am totally fine with. I have a Boyfriend named Rocky! He's a Chihuahua/Dachsund mix who lives next door!
I just don't understand how anyone could want to throw me away?! I'm very polite, I never have accidents in the house, I have like 10 nipples, I am good with Cats and Kids, and I love to snuggle! What more could you want?!
