My name is Shadow Breeze Moore. I was born on 2/20/08. Of course I am a pruebreed AKC registered German Shepard. I am an imported German Shepard. That means I am going to be very big. I am 7 months old now and my owners have noticed me not moving around so well now that I am bigger. I have a very hard time getting up from laying down and sometimes I cry in pain when I get up. I dont do as much as I did before. My owners took me to the University of Florida and they said I had bilateral muscle atrophy of the hind limbs Severe lazxity was evident in my left hip but my right hip is worse they say. My other vet calls it severe level 3 hip displasia. All I know is I am in a lot of pain. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday October 14. Please keep me in your prayers. I am hoping that I can go back to running and playing again like I did when I was really little.
