Hi! My name is Butters (Professor Chaos when I'm bad!) and I'm an adorable 2 year old Kitty! My Mommy found me one fateful evening when she was visiting my Aunty Jerica at her apartment (you see, there is a whole colony of us Feral Kitties living there, but most of my relatives run from strangers). I was just over 8 weeks old, and it was going on 11:00 at night, and Mommy was on her way out... I saw her walk past the staircase I was sitting on, and I knew she was one of the "good ones". So I mewed as desperately as I could and then she turned around and saw me, sitting there all by myself... cold, hungry and alone. I didn't know what to do and I was a little nervous, but I had to try! Mommy then started to talk sweetly to me as she came closer and closer. Then she reached out to me, and I was such a brave boy! I accepted her hand and let her pet me, wanting more and more! Then Mommy tried to pick me up, and I started to get a little scared, but I let her do it anyway! She felt so warm and safe and I wanted to snuggle right in and put my back to the rest of the cold, harsh world. Mommy then took me back to Aunt Jerica's and showed them that she found me. Aunt Jerica had seen me a few days earlier and had given me some food, but she didn't have the room to take me in. So Mommy decided to bring me home with her for the night. She was talking about something called an Animal Shelter and was going to drop me off the next morning. I heard her on the phone with one of them, and they were talking about possibly youth-a-nizing me (whatever that is?) and Mommy said NO WAY! So it must have been something bad! Then she called another Shelter and they were already full. So Mommy decided to let me stay a few more days until she could figure out what to do with me. She already had 4 other Kitties like me, and a REALLY big Kitty that barks, so she didn't think she had any room for me. I REALLY wanted to stay, so I decided to take desperate measures and to turn on the charm! I snuggled with Mommy every chance I got, flirting, purring and gazing into her eyes. She was putty in my paws I tells ya! Within 2 days of workin' it, she was calling me Butters, and gluing these weird nail caps on me!
As it turns out, I have worked out pretty well living here, and haven't caused very much trouble. I love, love, LOVE my new Brothers and Sisters, and even though it took a while for the older ones to accept me, we're all one big happy family now! I was really scared of my Sister Maya at first (she's the really big Kitty who barks), but now I love her too! I am SO happy I decided to get Mommy's attention that night, because I really hit the Kitty jackpot! I have a comfy bed to sleep on, Mommy, and all kinds of Brothers and Sisters to snuggle and play with, my own Kitty porch with toys and tunnels, and lots of treats!
