448 Productions is an independent production company based in Queensland, Australia.
Our team comprises of an assorted mix of usually unemployed artists, musicians, writers, hypocrites, liars, and pocrastinators from around the world with nothing else better to do than to seek any opportunity to sell happiness to the depressed demographic.
Our mission is to provide challenging artistic experiences that focus on hard-hitting subjects. We see it as our job to bring out the suppressed inner truth that lies deep within our collective unconscious. The inner truth that rarely cuts through on mainstream television and radio. We do this to practice and encourage the use of destructive and/or negative emotional forces in a positive, safe, and productive manner. We also speak that way and say such things because it makes us sound interesting and cool.
Originally, we were going to create mass chaos, but the truth is that we're far too lazy and have grown way too fond of our beds, sofas and sex toys.
Our goal at 448 is to take what we see as a society conditioned to fear their own needs of self-expression, partially due to the nature of the entertainment industry, and provide enough information to debunk many of the myths associated with. By doing so, hopefully we can eradicate the irrational fears that anchor the common person.
Don't limit yourself to your day jobs. No person should. We do live our lives assualted by the hype machine of popular culture on a daily basis, so some side-effects are to be expected. How we choose to combat it is what matters.
